The original team behind the Tony Award-winning Broadway hit reunites with Million Dollar Quartet Christmas, the brand-new heartwarming holiday rock 'n' roll musical, coming to the UIS Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, November 23rd.

Due to audience demand, Florida Studio Theatre (FST) announces the extension of its opening Summer Mainstage production, Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash.

Ring of Fire is a musical presented as a concert by a group of five performers playing the songs of legendary country music artist Johnny Cash. The show, which was conceived by William Meade and created by Richard Maltby, Jr., opened on March 12th, 2006 at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre on Broadway. Sadly, it only ran for 57 performances after closing on April 30th of that year. This production presented by North Carolina Theatre happens to be directed by Randy Redd, who was a member of the original Broadway cast.

Today, the Metropolitan Opera announced its 2020-21 season, the first in which Yannick Nézet-Séguin assumes his full breadth of musical duties as the company's Jeanette Lerman-Neubauer Music Director, conducting six productions. His schedule includes the Met premiere of Jake Heggie's Dead Man Walking, the first contemporary opera conducted by the maestro on the Met stage, as part of his ongoing commitment to opera of our time at the Met, which will expand in the seasons to come.

Goodspeed Musicals has announced this year's cast of A Connecticut Christmas Carol - the musical treat infused with Connecticut flavor by LJ Fecho and Michael O'Flaherty. Cortland Repertory Theatre closes their 48th annual summer season of professional live theatre with a BANG with the rockin' and rollin' musical Million Dollar Quartet, written by Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux. Performances will run from August 28 – September 13 with evening show times at 7:30.
