Rear Window - 2015 - Regional (US) Tickets, News, Info & More

$20-$95

A sweltering New York summer. A man confined to his wheelchair spends hour after hour watching his neighbors. Is he imagining things, or has he witnessed a murder? A thrilling adaptation of the classic crime story—"Rear Window" by Cornell Woolrich—that inspired the Alfred Hitchcock film. Keith Reddin’s plays include Frame 312, Life and Limb and Rum and Coke.

Renowned film, stage and television actor Kevin Bacon will lead the Hartford Stage cast in the world premiere of Rear Window, directed by Hartford Stage Artistic Director Darko Tresnjak, from October 22-November 15.

ALMOST, MAINE at Heart Repertory Theatre beckons us to stop a while and enjoy a brief time of shared moments with average people in average situations, a slice of life if you will. Through the sharing of these moments, Heart Rep reminds us of the universal threads that connect our experiences to those all around us and even those in remote places such as Almost, Maine. New love, lost love, unrequited love, and unspoken love are all part of this story and in some ways, everyone’s story. ALMOST, MAINE invites you into the lives of its residents and into their hearts as well.hat did our critic think of ALMOST, MAINE at Heart Repertory?

Revoltosa—The Troublemaker , now playing at GALA Hispanic Theatre ---is a compelling and lyrical “slice of life” with multiple layers of interest for just about any thinking and feeling human being who is willing to entertain the idea that life is full of mystery, contradictions and certain universal elemental truths about human nature.  This highly amusing (and often moving) yet insightful production (sub-titled as “Variations on the 1897 zarzuela for today”) is given a zesty and comically on-target interpretation by a committed ensemble under the Direction of José Luis Arellano.

When I left the Studio Theatre at the Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center at Howard Community College in Columbia where the Rep Stage is housed, I went up to Director Joseph W. Ritsch with a big smile on my face. He told me he wanted to end their season with a comedy that audiences would enjoy. Well, mission accomplished!

As I packed up the last of my boxes and prepared to leave my college dorm behind, I couldn’t help but reflect on everything that made my first year of college what it was. I entered a brand new place during a global pandemic and trained for an industry that could barely exist with the given health risks. After graduating through a youtube video and spending six months inside, the prospect of meeting new people, studying, and exploring a new place seemed daunting.

It's one thing to claim you are “proven,” it's quite another to have the credentials to back it up. Comprised of five of the most formidable musicians on the blues scene today — guitarist Kid Ramos, vocalist Brian Templeton, keyboardist Anthony Geraci, bassist Willie J. Campbell and drummer Jimi Bott — the band has collectively amassed a slew of accomplishments; dozens of awards won, decades of years playing top-notch music, hundreds of recordings, thousands of hours on the road, and millions of fans worldwide. These five musicians have proven their worth to the world over decades of hard work.
