New Cast Members Join 45th Anniversary Production of NIGHTCLUB CANTATA

With performances beginning April 23rd, Nancy Manocherian’s the cell theatre and Nightclub Cantata LLC, by special arrangement with Concord Theatricals, will present  Elizabeth Swados’ 1977 breakout sensation Nightclub Cantata, a provocative, eclectic and heralded theatrical creation rarely seen since its inception decades ago.

Yale Repertory Theatre has announced its 2022–23 season of four plays. The season will begin with Edward Albee’s Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, running October 6–29. James Bundy, who directed Albee’s A Delicate Balance at Yale Rep in 2010, will stage this new production of the explosively comedic and harrowingly profound masterpiece. 

Former National Theatre President Donn B. Murphy Has Passed Away

Murphy, PhD, former president and executive director of the National Theatre in Washington, DC for 35 years, and Georgetown University Professor Emeritus, passed away peacefully at his home in Fort Lauderdale, FL on April 3, announced his spouse and life partner of 49 years, US Army Col. H. Jones 'Jon' Carrow, Ret.
