in German, French, and Italian features text drawn from operas by Handel and Lully and offers a unique twist on the Orpheus myth, focusing on the character Orasia, Queen of Thrace, whose jealousy brings about the destruction of Orpheus and Eurydice.
Debut artist Daniel Teadt sings the title role in this new production staged at El Museo del Barrio (1230 Fifth Avenue between 104th and 105th Streets). Performed in German, French, and Italian with English supertitles.
