Jefferson Performing Arts Society proudly announces its 45th season mainstage directors, featuring directors based in New Orleans, New York, and San Antonio. Several directors are returning to JPAS after directing or performing with JPAS in recent seasons; two make their JPAS directorial debut this season. The following overview includes shows that are part of JPAS mainstage season subscription packages, currently on sale. Single ticket sales open June 6th for all 45th season shows. Philadelphia Ballet has announced Hans van Manen's Humankind, a program of three works by one of the key figures of contemporary ballet. This final production of Philadelphia Ballet's 2021/2022 season features a trio of van Manen's acclaimed ballets, including Grosse Fuge, Variations For Two Couples, and 5 Tangos.

Yale Repertory Theatre has announced its 2022–23 season of four plays. The season will begin with Edward Albee’s Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, running October 6–29. James Bundy, who directed Albee’s A Delicate Balance at Yale Rep in 2010, will stage this new production of the explosively comedic and harrowingly profound masterpiece.

James Beard Award-winning Chef Rick Bayless and Windy City Playhouse Artistic Director Amy Rubenstein today announced that their hit immersive production, “A Recipe For Disaster,” must close Sunday, April 24 on the Club Level at Petterino's (150 N Dearborn). “A Recipe For Disaster” is written by Bayless, Rubenstein and Windy City Playhouse Associate Artistic Director Carl Menninger and directed by Jeff Award Winner David H. Bell.

Hudson River Park Friends announced today that Diana Taylor has been approved as its new Board Chair, succeeding Michael Novogratz, who served as Chair of Friends from 2013 to 2022, and was a board member of the Hudson River Park Trust prior to that.
