Alan Lerner and Frederick Lowe's 1956 musical megahit 'My Fair Lady' opened last weekend at Musical Theater Heritage inside its three-venue Crown Center complex with a re-imagination by Kansas City's Heidi Van. This cast is multi-racial and sensitive to the modern relative roles of men and women in today's society.

Woodside Community Theatre ("WCT") is proud to present My Fair Lady, music by Frederick Loewe with lyrics and book by Alan Jay Lerner, based on George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion.

The MTH Theater has announced casting and additional details for its upcoming production of Lerner & Loewe's masterpiece, MY FAIR LADY. Allison Jones will assume the title role of Eliza Doolittle alongside esteemed Kansas City veteran Bruce Roach, as Henry Higgins.

There are shows that I believe get rave reviews, awards, and heralded as classics because, at some point, "true theatre people" aren't allowed to not like them. If you bring up Oklahoma, Hello, Dolly, or The Sound of Music, and don't fawn over it for hours, you are expected to turn in your theatre card and walk away from all conversations thereafter. My Fair Lady, as a musical, falls into this category for me.

Neshaminy Valley Music Theatre's spring 2017 production of Hello, Dolly!won three awards from the International Music and Entertainment Association. The awards were announced at a ceremony on June 16 at the Paramount Arts Center in Ashland, Kentucky. The three recipients are Jackie Laurence of Quakertown for Outstanding Leading Actress in a Musical, Kyle Rodgers of Telford (Montgomery County) for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Musical, and George Kinsley of Langhorne for Outstanding Scenic Design of a Musical.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Tony nominee Diana Rigg will depart MY FAIR LADY on Broadway on September 9. A replacement will be announced in the near future.

Last night, July 14, My Fair Lady celebrated its 100th performance at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre at Lincoln Center. The cast celebrated with a cake backstage and BroadwayWorld was there for the festivities!

On a hot summer day, when New Yorkers are hoping for a little bit of rain, Lincoln Center Theater  just released a video from the recording session of "The Rain in Spain.' Watch below as Lauren Ambrose, Harry Hadden-Paton, and Allan Corduner sing the famous tune!

Diana Rigg, currently starring in My Fair Lady at Lincoln Center, wrote a piece for The New York Times, in search of someone who she calls 'A Truly Good-Mannered Man.'

The Long Beach Playhouse closes its Mainstage season with the classic and much beloved musical My Fair Lady. Most people know the story of Eliza Doolittle - a flower seller of limited means with a feisty personality whom Professor Higgins transforms into a Victorian lady who can engage with people of wealth and means without a hint of the once-humble street vendor showing through the facade.

Alan Paul directs a superb cast in Lerner and Lowe's classic musical.

As last season's closer, Geva Theatre Center's production of Million Dollar Quartet was a complete sell-out and was extended for an additional week. By popular demand, the show is back for a limited run, special production in the Elaine P. Wilson Stage from June 14 to July 8. With a book by Floyd Mutrux and Colin Escott, based on an original concept by Floyd Mutrux and inspired by the music of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins, Million Dollar Quartet is directed by Hunter Foster.

Tony and Oscar winner Tony Walton is directing a production of My Fair Lady in Edmond, Oklahoma. The set and costume designer sat down for an interview with NewsOK.com to talk about his experience thus far.

Turner Classic Movies (TCM) will pay homage to the glittering world of Hollywood musicals with Mad About Musicals!, a special month of programming celebrating timeless movie musicals such as The Wizard of Oz, Singin' in the Rain and Cabaret. TCM is once again partnering with Ball State University and Canvas to offer a free online multimedia course tied to this programming special about the history of the musical genre and its evolution with cultural and technological shifts. Enrollment is open until June 17 and fans can sign up for the course at musicals.tcm.com.

Catherine Zuber has won the 2018 Tony Award for Best Costume Design of a Musical for MY FAIR LADY.

Nederlander, President, is pleased to announce the North American tour of Lincoln Center Theater's critically-acclaimed production of Lerner & Loewe's MY FAIR LADY. Directed by Bartlett Sher, the North American tour will launch in the Fall of 2019. Tour cities and casting will be announced at a later date.

In Broadway by Design, BroadwayWorld is shining a spotlight on the stellar designs of this Broadway season, show by show. Today, we continue the series with Michael Yeargan, Catherine Zuber, Donald Holder and Marc Salzberg, who acted as scenic, costume, lighting and sound designers for Lincoln Center Theater's classic revival, My Fair Lady.

My Fair Lady features a book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner with music by Frederick Loewe and tells the story of a Cockney flower girl struggling to overcome her ghastly accent in hopes of finding a better life. This iconic show will be brought to the Charleston Civic Center's Little Theatre by the talented cast and crew of the Charleston Light Opera Guild (CLOG) in late April and early May.
