The Game Audio Network Guild (G.A.N.G.) has announced the winners for their 18th annual G.A.N.G. Awards. For the first time, the G.A.N.G. Awards were streamed live on Twitch.tv and featured a pre- and post-show. The Awards were co-hosted by composers Cody Matthew Johnson and Wilbert Roget, II.

Thwarted in their attempt to hold their annual Spring awards Gala by the Covid-19 pandemic, the San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle took their Gala to cyberspace and held a virtual event in celebration of the excellent worked produced by Bay Area theatre artists in 2019. The event was sponsored by Actors' Equity Association.

Geffen Playhouse today announced six productions that will make up the 2020/2021 season in its Gil Cates and Audrey Skirball Kenis Theaters, with two additional productions to be announced. This marks the 25TH anniversary season for Geffen Playhouse, which will launch September 8, 2020, and run through July 25, 2021.

The 19th annual Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today announced its 2020 Shorts Program lineup. Setting a record with over 6,100 submissions, the final program roster includes 64 diverse and captivating short films from 20 countries around the globe, and features 46 world premieres, including DreamWorks Animation's new animated short, To Gerard. The short films will be presented in 10 distinct competition programs which include five narrative, four documentary, and one animation program. For the fourth consecutive year, 40 percent of the selections are directed by female filmmakers. Queen Collective by Procter & Gamble in partnership with Queen Latifah, Flavor Unit Entertainment and Tribeca Studios is back, a program dedicated to supporting gender and racial equality behind the camera. The 2020 shorts lineup is programmed by Sharon Badal and Ben Thompson. The 2020 Tribeca Film Festival takes place April 15 - April 26.

Richards today announced the lineup for the Utah Symphony's 2020 Deer Valley Music Festival in Park City, Utah. Hey Detroit, are you ready for the naughtiest and funniest magic show in world? The Naked Magicians are coming on March 6th and 7th to The Music Hall in Detroit. Following their smash hit 2019 residency at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, The Naked Magicians are returning to the U.S. for a coast-to-coast tour in 2020 and making a stop here this weekend. The Naked Magicians is comprised of Mike Tyler and Christopher Wayne, two of Australia's most famous magicians. It's the perfect show for a date night or the ultimate girl's night out as The Naked Magicians have performed - and undressed - for millions of fans in more than 250 cities and seven countries. The duo will forego top hats and capes for full frontal illusions complete with magic, muscles, and endless laughs or as their website says, 'good magicians don't need sleeves and great magicians don't need pants - when we say 'abracadabra,' the audience isn't always looking at our hands.'
