Following its box-office success in 2015, and touring performances in Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Taipei for 4 years, the Hong Kong Dance Company (HKDC) is bringing back its award-winning grand dance drama L'Amour Immortel to Hong Kong Cultural Centre Grand Theatre from 6 to 8 December 2019. Originally an adaptation of Hong Kong film icon Tsui Hark's most emblematic film A Chinese Ghost Story, L'Amour Immortel has won three Hong Kong Dance Awards 2016, including Outstanding Performance by a Female Dancer, Outstanding Performance by a Male Dancer and Outstanding Set Design for Dance.

Jon Culshaw will star as 'Bill Bryson' in a brand-new stage production of Bryson's award-winning memoir NOTES FROM A SMALL ISLAND adapted by BAFTA and Olivier Award winning playwright Tim Whitnall. Directed by the Watermill's Artistic Director Paul Hart, the production will have its world premiere in Newbury on Thursday 24 September and play until Saturday 31 October, with a national press night on Monday 28 September. The production will then tour to Malvern, Cambridge, and Richmond, with further dates to announced.

Following the announcement from the Centers for Disease Control and the City of Philadelphia,  Quintessence Theatre Group, Philadelphia's professional classic repertory theatre, has announced that it's first-ever three show repertory, The Dreams and Madness Repertory,  will be postponed for the safety of the community,  the actors and crew working on  the three shows. The Sedgwick Theater, QTG's home theatre will be closed until at least May 11.  Single ticket buyers and subscribers will be able to redeem their tickets at a later date or they can donate them back to the theatre.

The University of Hawai'i at Mānoa's Department of Theatre & Dance and Kennedy Theatre are proud to present Sueño, translated and adapted by contemporary Puerto Rican playwright and screenwriter José Rivera from Life is a Dream by Pedro Calderón de la Barca. Sueño, a metaphysical comedy-drama, is directed by MFA Directing candidate Robert Sanchez and will be performed Wednesday, March 25 through Saturday, March 28 at 7:30pm with a 2:00pm matinee on Sunday, March 29, 2020, in the Earle Ernst Lab Theatre at Kennedy Theatre. Tickets are $8-$18. The performance includes harsh language and adult situations and is not recommended for children.
