Austin Pendleton, the award winning actor/writer/director currently starring in 'The Minutes' on Broadway, will direct a reading of 'King Lear' at the AMT Theater May 1st, 6pm. The reading stars Charles E. Gerber as Lear and is produced by the Workshop Theater Company as part of its annual 'Will-A-Thon' celebrating the week of Shakespeare's birthday. It will be presented at AMT, 354 West 45th Street.

Pacific Symphony today announced the 2022-23 Family Musical Mornings series presented by Farmers & Merchants Bank. The series includes 45-minute, kid-friendly concerts that engage and entertain young audiences, setting them on the path to a lifelong love of music. Everyman Theatre will close out its live, 2021/2022 season with R. Eric Thomas's World Premiere comedy, CRYING ON TELEVISION. The production at Everyman Theatre is directed by Reginald L. Douglas and runs from May 31 through June 26, 2022. At-home streaming is also available from June 17 through July 10.

Seattle Rep today announced complete casting of its world-premiere production of Bruce, the new musical is based on Carl Gottlieb’s The Jaws Log, a novel about the making of the iconic film.
