Based on Harold Gray's comic strip titled Little Orphan Annie, this musical tells the story of a little orphan with equal measures of pluck and positivity who charms everyone's hearts, despite a next-to-nothing start in New York City in the year 1933.

Walnut Street Theatre (WST) continues its 213th season with Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID. Directed by Glenn Casale and choreographed by John MacInnis, the production begins previews on November 16, 2021, opens November 24, and continues through January 2, 2022 on the Walnut’s Mainstage.

LA's favorite vintage musical comedy trio, The Apple Sisters, present their hit show “Holidoozy Merry Christ-mess Special” for one night only - a throwback to the days of Big Bands, Slapstick, and Modest Product Endorsement (sponsored by Buddy's Bargain Blowout) with a modern twist. Candy (Rebekka Johnson), Cora (Kimmy Gatewood), and Seedy Apple (Sarah Lowe) entertain the live radio show audience and the “troops overseas” in three-part harmony with their original Christmas tunes.

On November 2, 2021 at 2 pm PST, Cloud 21 International and Kultura PR International presented the fourth Annual Production Without Borders Showcase, a special virtual event held during AFM.

The new album saw the four members of ABBA head back into Benny’s studio over a four-year period to record the ten songs that feature on the album. These include ‘I Still Have Faith In You’, and ‘Don’t Shut Me Down’, which will both feature in the ABBA Voyage concert alongside a set-list of the band’s greatest hits.

The Guthrie Theater today announced casting for its 47th production of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, featuring a world-premiere adaptation by Chicago-based theatermaker Lavina Jadhwani, directed by Joseph Haj.

Based on Colin Higgins' 1980 Academy Award nominated film of the same name, 9 to 5 follows three female coworkers in the late 1970s. Pushed to the boiling point, they team up to concoct a plan to get even with the sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot they call their boss. In a hilarious turn of events, Violet, Judy, and Doralee live out their wildest fantasy - giving their boss the boot! While Franklin Hart remains 'otherwise engaged,' the women give their workplace a dream makeover, taking control of the company that had always kept them down.

Garces announces the much-anticipated reopening of Volvér on Kimmel Cultural Campus just in time for the return of in-person performing arts. For Volvér's return, Chef Jose Garces' will debut a brand new Chefs in Residency Program that will spotlight the region's top rising stars and emerging chefs, with a focus on minority chefs that were affected by the pandemic.

There are some people who just have a passion for living. Passion is a word that applies to everything Christine Andreas touches. She has been bewitching Broadway audiences since she first appeared as the wicked maid Nancy in Angel Street. Her turns in much-heralded revivals of My Fair Lady, Oklahoma!, and On Your Toes made her Broadway's ingenue of choice and earned her two Tony nominations. She also wowed Broadway audiences in The Scarlet Pimpernel and the 2010 revival of La Cage aux Folles.
