Today, Goodman Theatre announces the Summer 2018 return of Jim McGrath's Pamplona starring stage and screen veteran Stacy Keach as Ernest Hemingway, directed by Artistic Director Robert Falls. Originally scheduled for Spring 2017, Pamplona appeared for 11 preview performances but closed prematurely after its star suddenly fell ill on Opening Night and doctors ordered recuperation.

 Award winning EMH Productions begins its seventh season of provocative and compelling theatre with the powerhouse drama by award winner Elise Marie Hodge.  An Iraqi war vet and the woman he inadvertently kidnaps become trapped, not only with each other, but their own personal demons as the worst snow storms in history isolate them in a cabin in the woods.  Sounds simple, right?  A series of blizzards are on the way, and the whole town is in preparation to lock down and sit it out in this one bar hamlet where a lonely woman and a strung out war vet have found solace.

Gangsters and gamblers, missionary dolls, and showgirls turn the gamble of love into a high-energy musical when Musical Theatre West presents five-time Tony Award-winning musical Guys and Dolls, February 16 - March 4 at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center. Based on the stories and characters by Damon Runyon, with music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows, the show tops Entertainment Weekly's list of "The Greatest Musical of all Time." St. Ann's Warehouse presents the American Premiere of Schaub hne Berlin's Returning to Reims, an adaptation of French author Didier Eribon's memoir of the same name, directed by Berlin auteur Thomas Ostermeier, February 4-25. This production marks the first collaboration between St. Ann's and the Schaub hne, whose production of Richard III recently garnered acclaim in BAM's Next Wave Festival.

Shakespeare Theatre Company is offering discounts to federal employees who were affected by the government shutdown. The theatre company has tweeted that there will be a 50% discount to upcoming performances of Hamlet and Noura, effective immediately. Federal IDs will be checked upon picking up the tickets.

As part of their 10th anniversary season Rose Theatre Kingston today announces the full cast for Stephen Bill's award-winning play Curtains. Lindsay Posner directs Leo Bill (Michael), Caroline Catz (Susan), Jonathan Coy (Geoffrey), Tim Dutton (Douglas), Wendy Nottingham (Margaret), Saskia Reeves (Katherine), Sandra Voe (Ida) and Marjorie Yates (Mrs Jackson). The production opens on Wednesday 28 February, with previews from Thursday 22 February, and runs until Saturday 17 March.

Adam Godley, Ben Miles and Simon Russell Beale are today announced as taking the roles of the Lehman brothers in Stefano Massini's The Lehman Trilogy, adapted by Ben Power and directed by Sam Mendes, in a co-production with Neal Street Productions. Further cast and creatives to be announced.

As the Festival continues its ambitious progression through the canon, King Richard II will be the 30th of Shakespeare's 38 plays PSF has produced.
