Broadway star Andy Karl will lead the Perth season of BEETLEJUICE THE MUSICAL at Crown Theatre, with Jenni Little joining as Barbara Maitland while Elise McCann takes parental leave. Several cast members reprise their roles from Melbourne.
The eight-time Tony Award-nominated Broadway production BEETLEJUICE THE MUSICAL is set to open at QPAC's Lyric Theatre in Brisbane, led by Broadway star Andy Karl, with Australian performer Jenni Little joining the cast as Barbara Maitland.
The cast has been revealed for Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, the devilishly cheeky, fun-filled Broadway musical opening at Hayes Theatre Co this May. Music theatre star and Hayes Theatre Co favourite, Blake Erickson leads the cast as Lawrence Jamieson.

Antaeus Theatre Company presents the world premiere of Eight Nights, a story developed in the Antaeus Playwrights Lab that honors the global refugee experience. Written by Jennifer Maisel and directed by Emily Chase, Eight Nights opens at the Kiki & David Gindler Performing Arts Center in Glendale on Nov. 8, where performances continue through Dec. 16. Low-priced previews begin Oct. 31.

The most wonderful time of the year is underway as Goodman Theatre's A Christmas Carol begins its 36th annual production. Directing the holiday favorite for the first time, Henry Wishcamper's production features all-new on stage magic-set elements, special effects and more. The cast of 27 (below, includes 14 new and 13 returning cast members) stars Larry Yando, who most recently appeared in Mary Zimmerman's production of The Jungle Book as Shere Khan, in his sixth turn as Ebenezer Scrooge and 8-year-old Matthew Abraham as Tiny Tim for the second year. Richard Eyre has adapted and will direct Ibsen's Ghosts, running at the Almeida Theatre now through 23 November 2013, with Press Night on 3 October.
