Solas Nua to Stage MAZ & BRICKS

In a year when U.S. headlines are filled with news of increasingly restrictive reproductive rights legislation, and U.S. streets are filled with women protesting for rights they thought they'd won nearly 50 years ago, Solas Nua, the Washington DC-based contemporary Irish arts organization, will stage an Irish play that lands the political firecracker in the middle of a romance. Maz & Bricks will perform June 2-26 at Atlas Performing Arts Center, 1333 H St. NE, Washington DC.

Skylight Music Theatre announced the full cast for the Wisconsin premiere of Dennis DeYoung’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame, running May 20 through June 12, 2022. Performances take place in the beautiful Cabot Theatre at the Broadway Theatre Center, 158 N. Broadway, in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward.

The country music community was rocked today with the tragic news of the sudden passing of country music giant Naomi Judd. Hailing from the Appalachian foothills of Ashland, Ky., mother and daughter duo, The Judds, were first discovered by RCA label head Joe Galante in 1983 after landing a spot on WSM-TV’s 'The Ralph Emery Show.'
