Tickets are now on sale for the Broadway premiere of Pictures From Home. Three of the theatre’s most inventive, inspired and award-winning artists will return to the stage, bringing to vivid theatrical life a comic and dramatic portrait of a mother, a father and the son who photographed their lives.

One of Australia's favourite performers of stage and screen, Hugh Sheridan, will star as Jonathan Larson in the much-loved rock musical.

The Australian mainstage debut of tick, tick…BOOM! the much-loved autobiographical musical by Jonathan Larson, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning composer of Rent, will take place at Melbourne's Comedy Theatre from 1 February 2023 before a limited season at QPAC's Playhouse in Brisbane.

Porchlight Music Theatre has announced Chicago Sings Stephen Sondheim, its annual fundraising concert,  Monday, May 23, 2022 at the Museum of Contemporary Art, 220 E. Chicago Ave. 

The phrase “No one is irreplaceable” was shattered this past week when composer/lyricist/GOD of American musical theatre Stephen Sondheim passed away at age 91. Simply put, Sondheim was unique, groundbreaking and a true original that many tried to copy and never could.

In 2020, Stephen Sondheim talked to 60 Minutes' Bill Whitaker about the different creative processes he experienced on his first Broadway musical, 'West Side Story.'
