China Broadway Entertainment announces its latest original global musical: Road to Heaven: The Jonathan Lee Musical. Adapted from the novel by internationally acclaimed author Li Xiuwen, the original musical will feature music by one of China's most iconic singer-songwriters Jonathan Lee.

Producer Mark Cortale's Broadway concert series hosted by Sirius XM radio star Seth Rudetsky will return to San Francisco for the 2017/18 season with a move to the Herbst Theatre at the iconic San Francisco War Memorial & Performing Arts Center.

Today, 15 September 2017, Stage Entertainment are pleased to confirm that TINA, a new musical based on the life of legendary artist Tina Turner, will open at the Aldwych Theatre in April 2018. Transcendence Theatre Company will conclude their 2017 season of spectacular outdoor Broadway concerts in Sonoma Wine Country with a special Gala Celebration at Jack London Stare Historic Park running September 8-10. Transcendence Theatre Company was named by USA Today's 10BEST as the #2 'Outdoor Concert Venue You Shouldn't Miss' in the United States, and received four 2016 Broadway World San Francisco awards including Best Special Theater Event for the fifth consecutive year. As BroadwayWorld sadly reported yesterday, Barbara Cook has passed away at 89. This is an enormous loss for Broadway, the golden age of television and the music world.

The Old Globe today announced that due to popular demand, the exciting Globe-commissioned world premiere comedy Ken Ludwig's Robin Hood! has now extended again, through September 10! This is the second and final extension for the hit show, which previously announced a one-week addition through September 3. The production plays in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Single tickets start at $45 and are on sale now.
