The Black Box, in association with The Estate of Edward Albee, will present EDWARD ALBEE: FROM A TO ZOO, AN EXCLUSIVE STAGED READING SERIES OF EDWARD ALBEE'S PLAYS. From the masterworks to the rarely and almost never seen - and including some hidden gems from the Albee canon - this curated monthly series will begin on Wednesday, May 24th at 7:30PM.

Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts and Deaf West Theatre (DWT), the performing arts organizations behind the Tony Award-nominated and Ovation Award-winning revival of Spring Awakening, reunite to bring multiple Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Edward Albee's At Home at the Zoo to life in an innovative and new production. Edward Albee's At Home at the Zoo begins previews on March 7 and will open in the Lovelace Studio Theater at The Wallis on Friday, March 10. It will run through March 26. This production is made possible by the generous support of Meeghan and Michael Nemeroff.

It is announced today that the Tony Award-winning and Academy Award-nominated actor Sophie Okonedo will join Damian Lewis in a new production of Edward Albee's The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia? Directed by Ian Rickson, the production will play a strictly limited 12 week season at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from 24th March to 24th June 2017.

Choreographer Jonah Bokaer, who has become increasingly recognized for his unique collaborations with emerging and established visual artists, filmmakers, and scientists, will present the world premiere of 'Occupant,' a work he created with his long-time collaborator, visual artist Daniel Arsham, at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts during Art | Basel Miami, December 6-8. The dance will be seen in preview at the Atlas Performing Arts Center in Washington, D.C., November 8-10.
Jane Alexander to Lead Signature Theatre's LADY FROM DUBUQUE

Signature Theatre Company (Founding Artistic Director James Houghton; Executive Director Erika Mallin), announced a change to the theatre's Legacy Program for the inaugural season at the Company's new home, Signature Center: the theatre will produce Albee's 1977 play, The Lady from Dubuque, in a new production featuring Tony Award winner Jane Alexander and directed by David Esbjornson. The world premiere of Edward Albee's Laying an Egg will be produced in a future season.
