Directors Guild of America President Thomas Schlamme today announced the DGA's nominees for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Television, Commercials and Documentary for 2017.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced the complete cast of the world-premiere production Amy and the Orphans, by Roundabout Underground alumna Lindsey Ferrentino (Ugly Lies the Bone), with direction by eight-time Tony Award nominee Scott Ellis (She Loves Me, On the Twentieth Century).

The Bickford Theatre at the Morris Museum is pleased to announce the cast of their upcoming production of Bakersfield Mist. The play will be directed by Bickford Theatre Producing Artistic Director Eric Hafen. Bakersfield Mist will be performed from October 26 - November 5, 2017. The book is written by Stephen Sachs.

Broadway veterans Carole Demas, who originated the role of Sandy in Grease, and Sarah Rice, who originated the role of Johanna in Sweeney Todd, have teamed up to celebrate the music of Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt, composers of THE FANTASTICKS, 110 IN THE SHADE, and I DO! I DO! and more. Demas and Rice have based their show on their 50 years of work and personal relationships with Jones and Schmidt.

THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT celebrates the start of the fall television season with two weeks of star-studded shows, beginning Monday, Sept. 18 (11:35 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Jerry Seinfeld, Steve Martin, Sofia Vergara, Jeff Bridges, Sterling K. Brown and Nick Kroll are among the featured guests.

The Hollywood Bowl's production of Mamma Mia! begins tonight, July 28, at 8 PM and continues Saturday, July 29, at 8 PM and Sunday, July 30, at 7:30 PM.

Grammy® Award-winning rock band Muse will perform their new single 'Dig Down' tonight on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on CBS at 11:35 EST/PST (check local listings). 'Dig Down' is available to stream and download. Muse will perform a special concert on July 24, 2017 at City Parks Foundation's SummerStage in Central Park to benefit The Coalition for the Homeless. 

Cape Rep Theatre presents Summer Starlight, an evening to remember, Sunday, August 6, with guest of honor, Tony Award winning theatre, film and television actor, Michael Cerveris. Tickets for this gala celebration benefiting Cape Rep Theatre include an outdoor party with hors d'oeuvres and live jazz, a performance and audience discussion with Mr. Cerveris in the Indoor Theater emceed by filmmaker Amber Edwards, and a champagne and dessert finale with Michael Cerveris under the stars.  Sunday, August 6, 6 PM.
