 Elvis Week 2020 will mark the 43rd anniversary of Elvis' passing and Graceland® is preparing for the gathering of Elvis fans and friends from around the world for the nine-day celebration of Elvis' life. The Recording Academy® welcomes the newest inductions to its distinguished GRAMMY Hall Of Fame®, continuing its ongoing commitment to preserving and celebrating timeless recordings. This year's additions recognize a diverse range of both single and album recordings at least 25 years old that exhibit qualitative or historical significance. Recordings are reviewed each year by a special member committee comprised of eminent and knowledgeable professionals from all branches of the recording arts, with final approval by the Recording Academy's National Board of Trustees. With 26 new titles, the Hall, now in its 47th year, currently totals 1,114 recordings. The 2020 GRAMMY Hall Of Fame inductions are available to stream via a playlist here.

The Brothers – Celebrating 50 Years of the music of The Allman Brothers Band will perform at Madison Square Garden in New York City for one night only March 10, 2020. The Brothers—Jaimoe, Warren Haynes, Derek Trucks, Oteil Burbridge, Marc Quinones—will be joined by Duane Trucks and Reese Wynans and special guest Chuck Leavell. Gail Boyd, Founding President of Gail Boyd Artist Management, has been elected as President of North American Performance Arts Managers and Agents (NAPAMA). Boyd's appointment is particularly momentous as she is the first African American woman to step into this prominent role. She is also the first NAPAMA President to come from the jazz music industry.

The announcement came at the conclusion of the band's performance at the legendary Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee, in which they played two of their iconic albums, Toulouse Street and The Captain and Me. For the fifth year, THROUGH HER LENS: The Tribeca CHANEL Women's Filmmaker Program will create new opportunities for women filmmakers. Tribeca and CHANEL, in collaboration with Pulse Films and Tribeca Film Institute (TFI), founded THROUGH HER LENS in 2015 to provide industry support, artistic development, and funding to emerging U.S.-based female writers and directors. On 1 September 2019, the first Dutch-language production of Kander and Ebb's Tony award-winning musical 'Kiss of the Spider Woman' will open in Antwerp. InTeam-Productions gathered a talented young cast for this Belgian premiere, most of whom recently graduated from drama school.

San Diego Repertory Theatre (San Diego REP) announced today that its world premiere musical, 33 1/3 a?" House of Dreams, currently held over until September 1st, set a new revenue record among all musicals in the theatre's recorded history. The musical beats out The REP's two previous revenue record holders, Evita (2017) and In the Heights (2013). All three musicals were Xchange Xperience productions, the partnership between San Diego REP and the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts that gives high school age students the opportunity to work on a professional production.
