The Doobie Brothers have announced 23 additional dates for THE DOOBIE BROTHERS 50thANNIVERSARY TOUR. The dates were added in response to overwhelming fan excitement following the band's surprise announcement at Ryman Auditorium on November 18th that MICHAEL MCDONALD will be joining the group on a North American tour. Four-time GRAMMY Award winners and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominees TOM JOHNSTON, MICHAEL MCDONALD, PAT SIMMONS and JOHN MCFEE will be touring together for the first time in nearly 25 years.

Four-time GRAMMY Award winners and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominees The Doobie Brothers today announced a 30-city North American tour to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the band's founding. TOM JOHNSTON, MICHAEL MCDONALD, PAT SIMMONS and JOHN MCFEE will be back on tour together for the first time in nearly 25 years. The announcement came at the conclusion of the band's performance at the legendary Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee, in which they played two of their iconic albums, Toulouse Street and The Captain and Me. MICHAEL MCDONALD took to the stage during the band's encore and gave a surprise performance of The Doobie Brothers' smash hit single, “Takin' It To The Streets,” before Pat Simmons announced that the entire band would be teaming up for a North American tour.

For the fifth year, THROUGH HER LENS: The Tribeca CHANEL Women's Filmmaker Program will create new opportunities for women filmmakers. San Diego Repertory Theatre (San Diego REP) announced today that its world premiere musical, 33 1/3 a?" House of Dreams, currently held over until September 1st, set a new revenue record among all musicals in the theatre's recorded history. The musical beats out The REP's two previous revenue record holders, Evita (2017) and In the Heights (2013). All three musicals were Xchange Xperience productions, the partnership between San Diego REP and the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts that gives high school age students the opportunity to work on a professional production.

The French Institute Alliance Fran aise (FIAF), New York's premier French cultural and language center, today announced the 2019 Crossing the Line Festival, featuring 11 performances and a gallery exhibition from a geographically, generationally, and artistically diverse group of artists whose work transcends genres and boundaries.
