BROOKLYN TAVERN THEATER revives Dan Furman's immersive musical event, IMPOSSIBLE BUT TRUE is an original 'tavern musical' that will tour the Brooklyn and New York areas.

Emerging Artists Theatre will present THE HIGH PRIESTESS, written by Andrew Martini and directed by Rachel B. Karp. The staged reading is part of the 2022 New Work Series. Performance takes place at TADA Theatre in Manhattan on Tuesday, October 18th at 7pm.

Westport Country Playhouse will stage the gripping tale of determination, hope, motivation, and inspiration, “From the Mississippi Delta,” written by Endesha Ida Mae Holland, Ph.D., and directed by Goldie E. Patrick, from October 18 - 30. The play was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize and won a Los Angeles Drama-Logue Award.

New Focus Recordings today releases composer Michael Hersch's the script of storms. The album (digital only) features two works by Hersch: cortex and ankle based on texts by Christopher Middleton, and the script of storms based on texts by Fawzi Karim.

Acclaimed indie pop/rock band Voxtrot will release Cut from the Stone: Rarities & B-Sides on all streaming platforms later this summer. The album, which will be released via the band's label Cult Hero, features demos, b-sides as well as previously unreleased tracks. The LP will be limited to 500 copies on black vinyl and will ship in September.
