The New York Asian Film Festival ushers in the new decade with the second annual edition of its Winter Showcase. As Little Steven looks back on his early solo career with the upcoming boxed set, RockNRoll Rebel – The Early Work, the creatively restless Rock & Roll Hall of Famer is simultaneously looking forward with a slew of new releases including a theatrical, Gene Kelly-inspired video for his song “Love Again” from his latest album, Summer Of Sorcery, and an exuberant live performance of Bruce Springsteen's “Tucson Train.” Leading up to the December 6 release of the boxed set, Little Steven aka Steven Van Zandt has been steadily releasing digital deluxe editions of the albums included over the last few weeks and today has made available his 1989 album, Revolution, which includes two rare mixes of the title track.

The McCallum Theatre presents The Highwaymen a?" A Musical Tribute featuring Waylon, Willie and Johnny on Sunday, November 24, at 3:00 pm. Perhaps the greatest super-group in country music history, the original Highwaymen, formed in 1985 and consisted of Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Johnny Cash. This recreation of that amazing band continues the legacy with tributes to Waylon, Willie and Johnny. You will see the friendship and comradery that existed between these legends, reliving great moments in country music history. Combining their unique approaches to life and recording, they traveled the world performing country music to millions of fans.

MerleFest, presented by Window World, is proud to announce the initial lineup for MerleFest 2020, which will be held April 23-26. The annual homecoming of musicians and music fans returns to the campus of Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. “For over 30 years, one of the major factors that has built and sustained MerleFest has been the quality of the artists and performances that our guests see over the 4-day festival,” says Ted Hagaman, Festival Director. “People truly feel that the festival is a great value and that is why music fans and families return year after year. Not only have a raft of famous actors chosen Chiswick as their home (Colin Firth, Vanessa Redgrave, Richard Briers to name a few), but also the playwrights who have lived there include some of the great names in British theatre a?' John Osbourne, Harold Pinter, Arthur Pinero and Patrick Hamilton, amongst others.
