With Thanksgiving fast approaching, many are looking forward to spending time with family and friends, taking a well-deserved break from work and school. Besides indulging in the wonderful food associated with this national holiday, families, children, and individuals like me are looking forward to waking up at 9am to watch Macy’s 95th Thanksgiving Day Parade broadcast live from New York City. Unlike last year, where in-person viewing was prohibited to avoid the spread of COVID-19, spectators are returning to attend this year’s version of a time-honored tradition. With a huge live audience again, I am personally excited to watch and experience the tangible excitement as the crowds witness the parading of larger than life balloons, precise marching bands, and of course, incredible singers, dancers, and Broadway casts.

The Broadway World Cabaret Award winner for Best Spoken Word show is back with a new format that is working for hostess Leola... and she is working for it, too.

The show by actor/playwright Terry Ray is set in a motel room, and the first two years were actually performed at INNDulge in a motel room with an audience of 20 serving as flies on the wall, watching the action.  Fortunately, the show has transferred to Oscar’s dinner theatre in the middle of town which enables about triple the audience, comfortable tables and chairs, and some really terrific food!

The Marshall Tucker Band will hit the road on their 50th Anniversary Tour and make a stop at the Warner Theatre on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 8 pm. Dave Mason will open the show. Tickets go on sale to Warner Members Thursday, November 18 at 10 am and to the General Public on Friday, November 19 at 11 am.

The new album saw the four members of ABBA head back into Benny’s studio over a four-year period to record the ten songs that feature on the album. This was the second Company to perform in The Brand Associates/Glendale Library Dance Series that has been absent during the pandemic, and it is thrilling that it now is back!! The Versa-Style Dance Company brings a new element to the mix of dance styles and appearances from former years, although they have performed in this series in the past. With a unique urban vibe, funky and down-into it and a free-form mix of styles... by that, I mean more improvisational, than say ballet or jazz. It gives you a free, uplifting and joyous feeling and is very infectious.
