Melinda Dillion, known for countless screen and stage roles, including her Tony Award nominated performance as Honey in the original production of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? passed away on Monday, January 9, at the age of 83. 

Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe will continue its 2022-2023 “American Dreams” theatre season with the highly-anticipated production, “Dreamgirls.” The show runs from February 22 through April 9, 2023.

BIRDLAND THEATER will present Melissa Errico for a special Valentine’s week engagement of “A Noir Romance” with nine shows from Friday, February 10 through Tuesday, February 14. Performances are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM, Monday at 8:30 PM, and Tuesday at 5:30 PM and 8:30 PM.

Ivo Van Hove is working with John Wells on a new television series taking place in a ruthless music conservatory. The series will be written by Matthew-Lee Erlbach, inspired by his experience training in the cutthroat environment at one of the top music conservatories in the country.

Theatre Communications Group (TCG) has announced the publication of Tip of the Tongue: Reflections on Language and Meaning by Peter Brook. TCG will publish the U.S. edition of this title, which was originally published in the U.K. in 2017 by our Partner Publisher Nick Hern Books.
