President and CEO Tyler Bacon has revealed that Position Music has acquired the publishing catalog of the multi-platinum French artist, DJ, and producer Gesaffelstein. In the agreement, Position Music will own and administer the publishing rights of the catalog prior to his Sony Music Publishing deal.

Actors' Equity Association Authorizes Development Strike Against The Broadway League

The National Council of Actors' Equity Association, the labor union representing more than 51,000 professional actors and stage managers in live theatre, has voted unanimously to authorize a strike against The Broadway League for work on the Development Agreement. This step does not begin a strike, but it empowers Equity to call one should it become strategically necessary.
