We're approaching the Holidays! It's an 85th Anniversary Season celebration at ZACH Theatre with three great seasonal shows to share.

A park bench at the charming Pioneer Park in Mission Hills is the Central Park setting for San Diego Actors Theatre's (SDAT) upcoming site-specific production of The Zoo Story by four time Pulitzer Prize-Winning Playwright, Edward Albee. Weekend performances run from October 28th through November 12th (Today and Sunday 2 p.m. matinees).

The greatest family musical of all time, THE WIZARD OF OZ, is touching down in Wilmington at The Playhouse on Rodney Square with eight performances, November 14 19. The show opens the 2017-18 Broadway in Wilmington season, presented by Bank of America.

Letters from Young Gay Men is a project that was inspired by Rilke's Letters to a young poet. A show that brings a unique intimacy between the gay youth and elders of the community. These are very special letters performed by an amazing cast - these words crack the heart and forge the soul.

'Out of Sterno' begins with meeting Dotty (Nora Thomas), the 23 year old heroine of the play. She is peppy and funny, and expresses her positive slant on everything in her very small world. She also lets us know that her husband, Hamel (Rafael Medina) won't let her leave their apartment, but that she is fine with that. She spends her days working on art projects and watching video recordings of the day she met her husband, 7 years earlier.

Roy are back again sharing the iconic role over the course of this limited run. So come see the show that has become the cult classic of the 'anti-holiday tradition' for San Francisco's audiences, come escape the craziness of the holidays with Combined Artform at the Eureka Theatre.

 Last season's critically acclaimed, World Premiere hit CHARLES DICKENS' A CHRISTMAS CAROL returns to Rubicon Theatre Company this holiday season with Broadway, TV and film veterans Peter Van Norden (RTC's Copenhagen) and Joe Spano ("NCIS," RTC's Bucky) reprising their roles in this innovative retelling of the classic. Adapted by Producing Artistic Director Karyl Lynn Burns and directed byBrian McDonald, the 25-member cast features many of the same actors from the original production that earned a "Critic's Choice" in the Los Angeles Times and rave reviews from Ventura County Star, CASA Magazine, VIDA Magazine and the Ventura Breeze. Presented as a play with music, this dynamic and compelling stage version is highly theatrical. Actors narrate at various times, play multiple characters, sing and contribute to the soundscape for the production in the style of the Royal Shakespeare Company's landmark production of The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby. CHARLES DICKENS' A CHRISTMAS CAROL opens in Ventura on Today, December 10 at 7:00 p.m. followed by an after-party at Rhumb Line Restaurant. Low-priced previews are December 7-9. The show runs Wednesdays through Sundays through December 24.

Share drinks with friends as Crumpet recounts his training and his hilarious encounters with surly parents and their greedy children! With a healthy dose of sarcasm and snark, Crumpet manages to reveal the shortcomings of the hustle and bustle surrounding the holidays while gently reminding us of the true meaning of the season. This intimate cabaret-style performance is a night at the theatre like no other.

Studio C Artists announces a limited run of HOMELESS FOR THE HOLIDAYS, featuring short plays, written by Craig A. Bealer, Dean Donofrio, and Pippa Hinchley, directed by John Coppola and Dean Donofrio; produced by Studio C and Theater Asylum/Combined Artform.  The show opens Friday, DECEMBER 2, 2016, continuing on consecutive Fridays and Saturdays through DECEMBER 16th.
