The new Stan Zimmerman & Christian McLaughlin play, Knife to the Heart, a comedy about circumcision, will hold a private reading on October 16, 2016, at Los Angeles's Lex Theatre. The cast for the reading will include Wendie Malick (Hot in Cleveland), Todd Sherry (Parks & Recreation), Katie Walder (How I Met Your Mother), and Josh Zuckerman (Desperate Housewives). Michael Matthews will direct.

Williamston Theatre will kick off its Eleventh Season with Pulp, a brand new play by Michigan Playwright Joseph Zettelmaier and part of the National New Play Network's Rolling World Premiere program. Imagination Theater is pleased to announce they have received three Elly nominations for two of their productions in the 2015-2016 season. Jan Le Pouvoir received a nomination for best supporting actress in her role as the uptight Miss Skillon in the British farce, See How They Run. Two nominations were received for the comedy, Lend Me a Tenor. Otto Coelho received a nomination for best supporting actor for his role as the opera star, Tito Merelli and Becky Jo Adams for Costume Design.
