Lakewood Theatre Company will begin its 61st season with six productions on its Mainstage and three productions on its Side Door stage beginning July 12, 2013.

President and Executive Producer Wally Jones is excited to announce the 2013-2014 Broadway season at Casa Mañana. "We are thrilled to celebrate our 55th season under the dome with a diverse collection of locally produced Broadway shows for our loyal Casa Mañana family," says Jones. The production will run at Northlight Theatre, 9501 Skokie Blvd in Skokie, from tonight, March 8 - April 14, 2013. The Press Opening is Today, March 15, at 7:30 pm.

Artistic Director Les Waters and Managing Director Jennifer Bielstein have announced the world premiere of Branden Jacobs-Jenkins Appropriate, directed by Gary Griffin, appearing as part of the 37th Humana Festival of New American Plays. Appropriate begins previews tonight, March 5, opens March 7 and runs through April 7.

The Manatee Players will offer a very full season of fourteen shows at the new Manatee Performing Arts Center located at 502 3rd Avenue West in downtown Bradenton, Florida! Both theaters in the new facility will come alive with current and classic musicals and plays. Brochures will be mailed out in April to current season ticket holders allowing them to reserve their seats in both theaters, including being able to order extra single tickets for the shows in the Studio Series before they go on sale to the public.

The production, directed by Robert Richmond (Othello and Henry VIII at the Folger), stars Zach Appelman (War Horse on Broadway) in his Folger Theatre debut as Henry V, and will run from tonight, January 22 - March 3, 2013.

Walnut Street Theatre's Independence Studio on 3 brings audiences Mark Brown's adaptation of Jules Verne's masterpiece Around the World in 80 Days. Philadelphia audiences will be the first to experience this wild adventure before it travels as the third national tour of a Walnut Street Theatre production. Around the World in 80 Days opened in Philadelphia on January 17th and runs through February 3rd in the intimate Independence Studio on 3. PiPE DREAM THEATRE has announced the world premiere production of Liz Muller and Collin Simon's THE NUTCRACKER AND THE MOUSE KING, directed by Liz Muller. THE NUTCRACKER AND THE MOUSE KING will play a limited engagement at Off-Broadway's Beckett Theatre (Theatre Row, 410 West 42nd Street). Performances began Wednesday, November 28 and continue through Saturday, December 15. Opening Night is tonight, December 1 (8 p.m.). $25 tickets are available at telecharge.com.
