Sonia Friedman Productions and Fox Stage Productions have today announced the world premiere of Ivo van Hove's highly anticipated stage production of the 1950 Twentieth Century Fox film All About Eve.

Theatre production company Parity Productions, a producer of new work that ensures they fill at least 50% of the creative positions (playwrights, directors, and designers) on their productions with cis women and/or trans and gender nonconforming (TCNG) artists, is hosting their second Annual Parity Productions Gala on Wednesday, September 26 from 7pm-9pm at Gotham Comedy Club, honoring and announcing the winners of The Second Annual Parity Commission for Women and Transgender Playwrights.

The producers of the smash-hit 'NATIVITY! THE MUSICAL', are thrilled to announce the return of Simon Lipkin as the hilarious 'Mr Poppy' after delighting critics and audiences in the show last year. He will play the role for the entire run opening at The Belgrade Theatre, Coventry on 23 October and finishing at the Eventim Apollo in London on 31 December. Actors' Equity Association has announced that Once on This Island will receive the eleventh annual Extraordinary Excellence in Diversity on Broadway Award for the 2017-2018 season. Presented by Equity's National Equal Employment Opportunity Committee, the Extraordinary Excellence in Diversity on Broadway Award honors shows that exemplify and promote the union's founding principles of diversity, inclusion, non-traditional casting and equal opportunity for all who work in the theatre.

Polarity Ensemble Theatre has closed its doors for good. The company, incorporated in 2004, was known for developing and producing new work by local playwrights and for innovative productions of classics. Polarity mounted 22 full length productions, 10 of which were world premiere scripts developed in the company's DIONYSOS CUP FESTIVAL OF NEW PLAYS series. The company also published five books, some of which will remain in print.

Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andre Bishop) has just announced that Tony Award winner Rosemary Harris will return to the Broadway stage when she assumes the role of Mrs. Higgins in its award-winning production of Lerner & Loewe's MY FAIR LADY, directed by Bartlett Sher, beginning Tuesday, September 11 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street). Diana Rigg will play her final performance as Mrs. Higgins on Sunday, September 9.

Many of Sondheim's most celebrated songs (The Ladies Who Lunch, Being Alive, Getting Married Today, Another Hundred People) come from this impressionistic concept musical.
