Boston Baroque returns to Vivaldi's masterworks, The Four Seasons and Gloria in D, along with Monteverdi's Beatus Vir this March, featuring Concertmaster Christina Day Martinson and conducted by Music Director Martin Pearlman. Two performances of this program will take place at NEC's Jordan Halla?"the first, on Friday, March 27 at 8pm, and the second on Sunday, March 29 at 3pm. Pre-concert speaker Laury Gutiérrez, founding director of La Donna Musicale, will give a talk before both performances at 7pm and 2pm.

'Ybor City,' an original musical with book by Anita Gonzalez and music and lyrics by Dan Furman, is a story of romance and labor organizing in 1918 Tampa, where the Afro-Cuban workforce joined with Italian and Spanish immigrants to unionize the new American cigar industry. The tuner will be presented as a work-in-progress February 5 to 26 by Brooklyn Tavern Theater, which is is pioneering a new theatrical genre: no-frills, immersive musicals presented as Equity showcases in hospitable taprooms. Performances will be Feb. 5, 12, 18, 19 and 26 at Rustik Tavern, 471 Dekalb Ave., Bed-Stuy and February 10 and 25 at The Players, 16 Gramercy Park South, Manhattan. Vernice Miller directs a cast of eleven. Co-producer is Art Boundaries Unlimited, Inc.

Wrigley's Catalina: A Centennial Celebration marks a significant milestone in the history of Santa Catalina Island, celebrating the 100-year anniversary of William Wrigley Jr.'s purchase of the island. The exhibition revisits 1919 and commemorates Wrigley's execution of his transformational vision for Catalina through a unique collection of photographs, artwork and historic memorabilia. The exhibition first debuted at the Catalina Island Museum in February 2019 and will close January 19, 2020.
