Simon Burke AO will be playing the role of the Wizard during the Melbourne season of the spectacular musical WICKED.

An additional preview was announced today for the upcoming Melbourne season of the spectacular musical WICKED, on Saturday 2 March at 7:30pm at the Regent Theatre. This will be the first chance for fans to see the much-anticipated Broadway Blockbuster in Melbourne. All tickets for this special preview will cost only $20.00 and go on sale at 8am on Wednesday 7 February at the Regent Theatre.

On Saturday, November 11th, I had the pleasure of seeing ELF, the musical, performed by Fairfield Center Stage, at Wakeman Hall inside First Congregational Church of Fairfield. With book by Thomas Meehan and Bob Martin and music by Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin, this musical is based on the 2003 movie. Shoshana and Kristin’s enduring friendship dates back to 2003 when their paths crossed at Broadway’s Wicked. The two have maintained an off-stage friendship since and recently connected on the green carpet for Wicked’s 20th Anniversary celebration.  In 2019, Shoshana joined Kristin as her special guest in her Broadway residency “For the Girls”.
