Silversun Pickups and Butch Vig joined forces under the name SSVU, an art rock band examining pop culture through existential true-life encounters, and the band shares the music video for “David Lynch Has a Painting Made of Flies Eyes,” directed by Michael Feerick. The music of Colony House—an indie rock band made up of brothers Will and Caleb Chapman, as well as Scott Mills and Parke Cottrell. Their personal genre designation is as much inspired by their hometown of Franklin, Tenn., as their new album The Cannonballers is: within 11 tracks, the band delves into where they come from.

The Oratorio Society of New York (OSNY), led by Music Director Kent Tritle, continues its 2022–23 season with its 148th performance of Handel's Messiah on Monday, December 19, 2022 at 8:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall.
