A most productive Los Angeles theatre staple, Michael Michetti directs this Los Angeles premiere of the Richard Nelson, Richard Pevear and Larissa Volokhonsky translation of the Anton Chekhov classic Uncle Vanya. Cast includes Hugo Armstrong as “Vanya,” with Anne Gee Byrd, Brian George, Brandon Mendez Homeras, Jane Taini, Sabina Zuniga-Varela and Chelsea Yakura-Kurtz. Michael found some time from his multi-tasking to answer a few of my queries.

SAVVY Theatre has confirmed its programme for 2022, including the Summer Shakespeare Season in the Savvy Studio from 28 May to 27 June, In Between Spaces from SignDance Collective International on 1 July and A Christmas Carol in the Recreational space at Fairfield this December.

Theatre Royal Stratford East today announces its 2022/23 season. The season includes Anthony Neilson's poignant and comical delve into the nature of mental illness, The Wonderful World of Dissocia, directed by Emma Baggott, which opens in September 2022.

Recorded between London and Melbourne, the EP is a musical collaboration with UK friend, producer & songwriter, Steve Anderson who he began working with throughout the first lockdown of 2020. And with Ukrainian refugees in the news daily, when I heard about Sona Tatoyan's Multimedia Theatrical Experience AZAD ('free' in Armenian) which offers 'one woman's magical, multi-generational, healing journey from the Armenian Genocide to the Syrian war,' I decided to speak with her about her creative journey to, as she shares, 'find the brightest light from the deepest shadows, while living in an upside-down world.' The Birdland Jazz Club and Theater has released their programming from March 28th through April 10th. Artists appearing at Birdland Jazz Club include Emmet’s Place: Emmet Cohen Trio Featuring Special Guests, Ed Neumeister’s Assembláge Jazz Orchestra, Ravi Coltrane Quartet, and John Minnock with Dave Liebman. 

Birdland Jazz Club and Birdland Theater are open this April with a full slate of nightly performances! 

Album Club are a band of creatives that initially gathered to discuss music in The Laurieston, an iconic Glasgow bar in 2019. The group was started by MJ McCarthy, who brought friends together to dissect albums, track by track over drinks.
