Johnny Goudie To Play HAAM Benefit Day Show Tomorrow, EP Release This Thursday

Austin-based indie singer-songwriter Johnny Goudie is gearing up for the release of his solo EP 'Leper Hands' this Thursday, Sept. 13 and his official EP release show at One-2-One Bar also on Sept. 13. Doors for this show are at 7 p.m., with the soulful Aaron Stephens opening at 7:30 p.m. and Johnny Goudie on at 8:30 p.m. Austin pop musician Sarah Dossey and Shy Beast vocalist MC Glaeser will also be singing backup for Goudie at this show. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here. Goudie will also be performing for HAAM Benefit Day at Antone's Record Shop tomorrow, Sept. 11, at 4:30 p.m. The info for this show can be found here. Johnny's new, four-track EP heavily features his own piano playing, mixing in vintage guitars and dynamic drum beats with his smooth indie-rock vocals. Daniel Roebuck Of LOST And Award-Winning Producer Sam Borowski Join Forces For IN THIS MOMENT

Award-Winning Producer/Director Sam Borowski will be teaming up with Daniel Roebuck of LOST and Matlock fame for a sixth time for the short film, In This Moment. Roebuck, who is also known for his roles in River's Edge, The Fugitive and US Marshalls, among many others, recently wrote, directed and starred in the independent film, Getting Grace, which was released theatrically by Hannover House and is coming to DVD/BLU-RAY from SONY Home Entertainment. He filmed it in the Lehigh Valley, where Borowski, set In This Moment.

Yesterday, June 19, Actors' Equity Association, the labor union for professional stage actors and stage managers, presented the 2018 Advisory Committee on Chorus Affairs (ACCA) Award to the chorus of Once on This Island. The award, established in 2007, is given to what the committee votes on as the outstanding Broadway chorus of the season.

The original producers of Smokey Joe's Cafe: The Songs of Leiber & Stoller, Broadway's longest running musical revue, announced today that the show will return to New York this summer following a limited engagement at Maine's Ogunquit Playhouse. Preview performances will begin at New York's Stage 42 (422 West 42nd Street) on July 6 and opening night is set for July 22. Tickets will go on sale on Monday, March 12 through telecharge.com and the box office will open on June 25. Casting is to be announced.
