Daniel Roebuck Of LOST And Award-Winning Producer Sam Borowski Join Forces For IN THIS MOMENT

Award-Winning Producer/Director Sam Borowski will be teaming up with Daniel Roebuck of LOST and Matlock fame for a sixth time for the short film, In This Moment. Roebuck, who is also known for his roles in River's Edge, The Fugitive and US Marshalls, among many others, recently wrote, directed and starred in the independent film, Getting Grace, which was released theatrically by Hannover House and is coming to DVD/BLU-RAY from SONY Home Entertainment. He filmed it in the Lehigh Valley, where Borowski, set In This Moment.

"I've been visiting the Lehigh Valley for years, when I would visit Danny and his father and I always thought it was beautiful," said Borowski who adapted Myra Dell Harman's short story, 'A Day at Greyfield Arboretum' for the script that eventually became In This Moment. "When I was with Danny in Bethlehem in January, I asked him about it and he took a ride with myself and my lead actress to show us some locations. I thought it was a slam dunk to shoot our movie!"

Borowski has produced 13 films, including seven features and has directed five films, perhaps best known for the feature Night Club, which starred Oscar-Winner Ernest Borgnine, Zachary Abel, Oscar-Nominee Sally Kellerman and Natasha Lyonne. One of the films he directed was a short, The Mandala Maker, which qualified for the Academy-Awards in 2009 and starred Courtney Hogan, Tony-Winner Terrence Mann and Roebuck.

While he has similar lofty ambitions for In This Moment, this time Borowski, who adapted the short story for the script and will serve as lead producer, appointed a young female director, Taylor Salotti, who he felt was perfect for this type of material.

"This project was about creating opportunities for others," Borowski said. "And, Taylor has been both a writing and acting student of mine for close to two years. I think she's going to do wonderful. And, this will be an exciting and fun opportunity for her. I will serve as a directorial consultant, so she will have plenty of positive support."

Along those lines, Borowski cast Sara Harman as the lead of Ally, playing opposite Roebuck's Thomas. The story focuses around Harman's Ally, who Thomas finds despondent on a park bench. Thomas proceeds to sit on the park bench and tell her about his ethereal and loving wife of sixty years, Mary. In the process, he teaches her one of life's greatest lessons of love and being loved.

Nick Turco, who shot the soon-to-be-released feature, A Line Between All Things, was serve as Director of Photography. Rounding out the cast are Bethlehem native Jacob Williams, who played Doug in Getting Grace, Sara Teed, a veteran of over 10 movies and Mike Vezza, who will also serve as Executive Producer. Tayler Hamilton (correct spelling), who played Honoria Murphy in 2004 MGM movie De-Lovely, which starred Kevin Kline and Ashley Judd, will play Mary.

"Sarah has really helped us organize and we're really grateful to have her in the period portion of the film," said Borowski. "I've been looking to work with Mike on a project and this was perfect. And, Sarah put me on to Tayler and I think she's really talented, as well. She was about eight when she was cast in a supporting role in De-Lovely. and that seemed to really inspire her love of acting. Her look is also perfect to play the ethereal beauty of Mary, Thomas' great love. I think Tayler will own this role and make people fall in love with her as this character."

Even though Borowski's a New York City native, he feels like an adopted son of Bethlehem.

"This town - and the organization Fade-In, Fade-Out, is not only making this movie possible," he smiled, "but they are making this a much better film, because of their efforts."

In This Moment begins principal photography on Saturday, July 14th in Bethlehem, Pa.
