The Menier Chocolate Factory has announced full casting for their co-production with the Umeda Arts Theater of Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman’s Pacific Overtures. 

Scott Bakula will star Off-Broadway in the world premiere musical The Connector, conceived and directed by Daisy Prince, featuring music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown, and a book by Jonathan Marc Sherman.

The 12-song Laugh Track is a companion to and features material originally started in the same sessions as First Two Pages of Frankenstein, which was released by 4AD in April. DUBLIN band Bell X1 have a new single & video “The Lobster” out now. The video directed by Allyn Quigley features Irish Actors Liz Fitzgibbon and Kieran Roche and, like the track, takes its cues from Jean Paul Sartre’s infamously bad mescaline trip in the 1930’s. The video was filmed on Dublin’s Waterloo Road. 

The Museum of Broadway has added new costumes including the feathered finale dress worn by Stephanie J. Block in The Cher Show (2018) designed by Tony Award-winning costume designer Bob Mackie, as well as a dress worn by Eartha Kitt in The Wild Party (2000) and a dress worn by Audra McDonald in Marie Christine (1999).

The American Theater Group (ATG), a professional regional theater company celebrating its 11th season, has announced it will present Parade, the Tony Award-winning musical at the Maurice Levin Theater at the JCC MetroWest in West Orange, NJ from March 9-11th.  As previously announced, the show will begin its run March 2-5th at the Sieminski Theater in Basking Ridge. 

Britney Spears will make her highly-anticipated reutrn to music with a new rendition of 'Tiny Dancer' with Elton John. The new single will be released 'in the coming days' and is officially titled 'Hold Me Closer.' The artwork for the upcoming single features two emojis, a rose for Spears and a rocket ship for John.

As New England Conservatory's (NEC) affiliate orchestra for new music, the Boston Modern Orchestra Project (BMOP) will present the 21st Boston ConNECtion concert, a portrait concert featuring music by NEC's Malcolm Peyton Composer Artist-in-Residence Ellen Taaffe Zwilich.
