On Friday, May 27, 2022, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra will release their new album, William Grant Still, on Naxos. This album includes world premiere recordings of 13 works by 20th-century composer William Grant Still and features solo violinist Zina Schiff with maestro Avlana Eisenberg leading the orchestra.

During its 50th anniversary season of milestones, CMS begins November with the world premiere of John Corigliano's The Food of Love for Oboe and Celloa?"one of several trailblazing composers highlighted in this concert, including John Cage, Elliott Carter, and Ruth Crawford Seegera?"whose works from the past century have set the stage for composers today (Nov. 7). The Cleveland Orchestra announced that its Gala Evening, held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 raised more than $1 million for the sixth consecutive year. The 2019 Gala raised more than $1.2 million thanks to the overwhelming generosity of this year's attendees and the leadership of honorary chairs Norma Lerner, Nancy W. McCann, KeyBank chairman and CEO Beth E. Mooney, and Cleveland Orchestra board president Richard K. Smucker,. More than 400 guests attended the Gala evening this year, including members of the Orchestra's young professionals group, The Circle.

BroadwayWorld has learned that real-life married couple Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker will come to Broadway in Neil Simon's Plaza Suite following an out of town run at Boston's Colonial Theatre - where the 1968 production also originated, before a 17 week run on Broadway at the Hudson Theatre with previews set to being in March. The production will be directed by John Benjamin Hickey.
