Join us on the tideflats for a day of adventure and celebration.
Out on the beach, you can harvest oysters and clams to take home and eat, take tours with ecologists and oyster farmers, learn about shellfish farming, and compete (or watch!) an oyster sports competition.
Up on shore, you can listen to live music, eat delicious bites prepared by chefs near and far, sample local beer, enjoy a glass of wine and cider, and watch artists at work. You can learn to shuck, sign up for the oyster trivia or mystery oyster contest, and bid on outdoor gear in the silent auction.
The event is a fundraiser for the Hood Canal Education Foundation, and happened annually from 2011 to 2019. This year is our first year back post-pandemic, and we're excited to partner with Quilcene Lantern to bring in an eclectic mix of bands from near and far, including country western singer songwriters, mavens of R&B/soul, local garage bands, and post-punk surf rockers.
