Natural History, written by Collin Van Son and directed by Chelsea Radigan, is a world premiere production at Mosaic Theater Company. Set in 2169, the play follows environmental activists and partners Jane and Clyde as they attempt to steal a taxidermied bison from the American Museum of Natural History, only to find it already missing. The darkly comedic work explores the tensions between history and nostalgia, personal and public responsibility, and art and activism. Natural History is a eulogy from the future about loss, legacy, and what is worth saving when the past disappears and the record is up for grabs.
