Back by popular demand, Lola is the summer spectacular you won’t want to miss. Revived from the Can Can catalog, this vibrant production makes its long-awaited return in 2026, promising to bring even more laughs, high kicks and razzle dazzle than ever before.
It’s 1970 at the Copacabana, where famed showgirl Lola and bartender Tony are on the fritz after a long and tumultuous affair. Their fellow performers are caught in the middle of the drama, torn between their loyalty to Lola and their drinking buddy, Tony. Rico, the suave, womanizing flair bartender from Fuegos Mucho Caliente, the Copacabana’s rival restaurant, has caught wind of the breakup and sets his sights on Lola. When Tony learns of their entanglement, he hatches a plan to win her back. As Rico and Tony’s rivalry heats up, fate will decide who wins the heart of the prized showgirl.
Inspired by the lyrics of Barry Manilow’s Grammy Award–winning hit “Copacabana,” Lola blends comedy, romance, and flirtatious sex appeal into an unforgettable evening of entertainment. With vibrant new costumes, original choreography, fresh music, and Can Can’s signature blend of humor and glamour, Lola is set to be the must-see summer event of 2026.

BWW Review: LOLA at The Can Can
May 16, 2022 Dear Readers, I think it’s time for me to come out to you all. I am here to say that I am an out and proud fan of Barry Manilow. Yes, I’m a Fanilow. From “Mandy” to “American Bandstand” to “I Made it Through the Rain”, I love them all. And, of course, there’s the best, “Copacabana”. Now take that fandom and combine it with my love for Seattle’s Can Can and you’d think their current show would be a sure-fire hit. And you’d be right. “Lola” the latest incarnation from Artistic Director Chris Pink, Choreographer Fae Pink, the delicious folks at the Can Can is not only a hit but one of the best shows I think I’ve ever seen from them (and that’s saying something) and one not to be missed.About the Theatre
