Passion! Jealousy! Romance! Discover the enchantment of Lerner and Loewe’s Camelot, one of the greatest musicals of all time. David Lee’s (co-creator of Frasier) intimate new adaptation cuts to the heart of the story to focus on the legendary love triangle at its core. An idealistic King Arthur hopes to build his kingdom on a foundation of justice and order, only to find his principles tested by the love between Queen Guenevere and his favorite knight, Sir Lancelot, all while the future of the kingdom is at stake. With all your favorite tunes, like “If Ever I Would Leave You,” “I Loved You Once in Silence,” and “The Lusty Month of May,” as well as songs not often heard in other productions, you’ll hear this enthralling score like never before. Don’t miss this epic and alluring (k)night of theater!

I’m happy to say that what I witnessed last night is what I like to refer to as theatrical alchemy, when all the parts of a show, cast, set, direction, costumes, etc., all come together to form gold writes BWW critic.
Village Theatre will present an intimate adaptation of CAMELOT, offering a fresh take on the classic musical.
