Under the Influence is an original musical comedy written by Carine Gilbert and Frances Gilbert (The Gilbert Twins) with lyrics, composition, and musical direction by Shona Maule, directed by Georgie Rankcom. After becoming a viral sensation, identical twins Carine and Frances land in couples therapy as the world's most co-dependent non-couple, leading to a hilarious musical intervention that threatens to collapse their lifelong duet. The show explores the chaos of sisterhood, online pressure, and the search for one's own voice. This is a preview performance presented as part of Highlight Festival by VAULT Creative Arts.
