Relay at Pleasance

Relay is a musical comedy by Leila Navabi, who brings her unique experiences to the stage, exploring the journey of making a baby with her partner and their gay best friend's sperm after facing potential infertility at a young age. This heartfelt show, featuring six original songs and directed by Elan Isaac, delves into themes of love, inequality, and the joyful chaos of building a family on one's own terms. Following the success of her debut show Composition, Navabi promises a fresh blend of humor and sincerity, celebrating the diverse ways families can be formed. The production is presented by the Sherman Theatre and TEAM Collective Cymru at the Pleasance Courtyard.
