Laura Horton returns to the Edinburgh Fringe with Lynn Faces, her second play that explores the journey of recovery from trauma through the lens of punk music. Starring Madeleine MacMahon, the narrative follows Leah, who grapples with the aftermath of a toxic breakup while channeling her admiration for Lynn Benfield, the beloved assistant from Alan Partridge. This tragicomic production weaves personal experiences and elements of hope as Leah forms a fictional punk band, discovering strength and humor amidst her struggles. The show is an insightful look at healing and empowerment, set against the backdrop of a chaotic gig at a small bar.
