I Bought A Flip Phone is a solo show written and performed by Panos Kandunias, following Charlie, a 27-year-old who ditches his iPhone for a 2002 Nokia flip phone in hopes of escaping loneliness and digital overload. Set against a backdrop of digital brain rot, the show examines what it means to be lonely in an ultra-connected age, how identities are constructed, and what intimacy and desire look like through a screen. The show explores themes of loneliness, authenticity, and queer desire with candor, nostalgia, and humor. Produced by PJ Cunningham, it previously staged at HOME Manchester, Oxford Playhouse, and Theatre Royal Bath before this Edinburgh Fringe debut.
