Gyles Brandreth: Up Memory Lane! at Assembly George Square Studios

Gyles Brandreth, podcaster, raconteur, and veteran of numerous television programmes, returns to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe exploring how memory works and sharing stories from his life. He is joined on stage by Harriet Jaine, producer of his chart-topping podcast Rosebud, who turns the tables and asks Gyles about his own earliest memories. The show involves audience participation, with Gyles and Harriet throwing a ball into the crowd so that whoever catches it must share a family secret or pay a forfeit, promising laughs, tears, and songs.
