Shakespeare's Othello receives a fresh staging at the Citizens Theatre in Glasgow, directed by Anthony Almeida. This co-production between Citizens Theatre, Northern Stage, and HOME Manchester, in association with Royal & Derngate, presents the classic tale through a contemporary lens. Re-examining a story where love and hate are inseparably entwined, the production explores fear, passion, and paranoia simmering beneath the surface of a newly forged marriage.
