Amnesia is a solo show written and performed by Kimberly Hart-Simpson, known for her screen credits in Coronation Street and Brassic, making her Edinburgh Fringe debut. Set in Rhyl, the show follows Kelly, a dementia carer and daughter of two Tom Jones tribute acts, who conceals devastating personal news while holding together chaotic care home shifts, turbulent friendships, and family expectations. The piece combines razor-sharp comedy with emotional honesty, shining a light on carers, community spirit, and the realities of dementia. Directed by Kate Wasserberg and produced by Queenie Miller for Hat Trick Productions, it was selected by Sherman Theatre to represent Wales in the 2026 Pleasance Edinburgh National Partnerships initiative.
