A Stan Is Born! is an award-winning camp and heartfelt musical comedy about a queer kid's obsession with pop divas and the search for the diva within. Born in New York and uprooted to rural Germany, Alexis Sakellaris finds salvation in Céline, Whitney, Mariah, Beyoncé and more, icons who become maternal figures. Featuring 7 original songs, the show explores stanning, identity, and whether obsession can become empowerment. This is the final 10-show run of the production, which won the NYC Fringe Spirit of the Fringe Award.
