(08/07/2015) - The Edinburgh International Festival opened last night with The Harmonium Project, a free outdoor animated performance that lit up the city's key concert hall, to celebrate 50 years of the Edinburgh Festival Chorus. Approximately 19,500 watched a series of projected artworks, designed by 59 Productions, on the Usher Hall whilst listening to John Adams' mesmerising choral work Harmonium. Scroll down for photos!

(07/29/2015) - London's world-renowned venue Shakespeare's Globe makes its Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut with two shows from the acclaimed family-friendly series Shakespeare Untold, running 5 - 31 August 2015 (previews 5 - 7 August; no shows 12, 19 & 26 August) at Pleasance Courtyard. Shakespeare Untold features Romeo and Juliet (The Party Planner's Tale) and Titus Andronicus (The Piemaker's Tale) by Harper Ray and Adam Sibbald, based on the plays of William Shakespeare. Dan and Jeff are back with their greatest challenge yet... the entire works of one of the greatest detective in literary history, Sherlock Holmes. (08/22/2012) - Yesterday, August 22, Liz Lochhead launched Poetry in the Persian Tent at the Festival of Spirituality and Peace in Edinburgh, UK, to raise money for Oxfam project Old MacDonald Had a Farm for Africa. In the first of five Poetry in the Persian Tent readings with music, poets Liz Lochhead, John Glenday, Ryan Van Winkle, and Stephanie Green performed their verse accompanied by John Sampson on wind instruments.
(08/06/2012) - Michael Fletcher joins the cast of InSTEP Theatre's award-winning production of Departure Lounge direct from ITV's Superstar. He is extremely positive about his experience on the show and is delighted that he is able to join the rest of the cast for Dougal Irvine's award-winning musical Departure Lounge this summer in Edinburgh.
