The San Jose Nutcracker, a collaboration between New Ballet and Symphony San Jose, brings a unique rendition of the classic tale to life from December 14 to December 23, 2024. Choreographed by Dalia Rawson, this production is set in 1905 San Jose and features landmarks of the era, including the Electric Light Tower. The cast includes professional dancers, students from New Ballet's training program, and the Ragazzi Boys Chorus, with a live orchestral performance conducted by Thomas Shoebotham. The show also includes My Very First Nutcracker, a one-act version designed for young children.
