Symphony San Jose presents Beethoven's Eroica, featuring one of Beethoven's most celebrated works, Symphony No. 3, known for its exploration of humanity. Conducted by Nathan Aspinall, the performance includes Richard Strauss’ tone poem, Death and Transfiguration, which reflects on the dying thoughts of an artist. Additionally, Symphony San Jose will present Arvo Pärt's Cantus in Memory of Benjamin Britten, marking their first performance of a work by the renowned contemporary composer.
